Our client required a point cloud of a Fire Pump House to capture  ‘As-built’ data of what is installed, while also providing key data for future modifications.  Using a Faro S70 scanner, our team successfully captured all the necessary data and 3D colour panoramic images.  The point cloud provides key measurements to enable piping isometrics and plot plans to be created.  The ‘digital twin’ was then uploaded to Faro Webshare software, this gave the client 19 scan positions utilising 3D panoramic images to remotely view at any time in an environment (Pump House) that is generally out of bounds during normal plant conditions.
